Randy was born May 26, 1959, in Springfield, MO to Harry G. and Ruth “Gene” (McDonald) Seely. For 35 years, he worked as a radiologic technologist at Cox Health Systems, where he was beloved by his co-workers for his generosity and sense of humor. On Nov. 3, 1982, Randy married Susan Denise Stricklin and they had three children together (Stephen, Stephanie, and Seth). Anyone who knew him would say that his family was always the most important thing to him and his proudest achievement. An avid traveler, amateur photographer, skilled musician, and beer enthusiast, he loved visiting Europe, making photobooks, hosting beer tastings for his friends, and playing with his beloved granddaughter Kaylee. Although his battle with GBM lasted less than eight months, he fought with incredible courage and an unwavering spirit that came as no surprise to his family and friends. His kindness and his love of life will live on as an inspiration to all those who were lucky enough to know him.
