Raquel Ramirez

This is my Mother her name was Raquel Ramirez. Her greatest accomplishment in this world, her calling from the moment I was born was to be this selfless amazing mother. Every obstacle we faced in my childhood in her mind her first thoughts were always for my sister and I . She was a lover of “futbol” or soccer that was her passion. She watched every single game she breathed it and lived it . In her mind she kept all the stats, the players names the memorable goals. She cried and groan when “la seleccion” lost. She watched the premier league the MX league, the world cup, U17 , any tournament, you name it she followed along. Her smile and laugh were unforgettable , her love was unlike any I have ever known, A mothers love. She passed on Friday the 13th this past January 2017 from glioblastoma a death sentence when we found out in July of 2016. With 6 months to live we did the most we could with those 6 months . I miss her terribly every day and hope some day this is not a death sentence for another person and family. Much Love , Victoria daughter to the most amazing woman I have ever known.
