My Dad was the the absolute BEST! Although this man didn’t become my dad until I was in high school, he stepped in and filled in all the gaps. He showed my mom, my siblings, and I what it was to be truly loved and cared for. When he was diagnosed with GBM IV it was our turn to repay the kindness that he had taught us. I was able to take dad to most of his appointments, and make a lifetime of memories in the last 22 months. We found the best country fried steak in the area, took him on a ride in a Delorean, and no was not in our vocabulary. My Dad never got mad or angry at his diagnosis, with everything in life, he handled it with grace and loved unmeasurably through it all. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of my dad and miss him beyond measure.
