May 25, 2024 changed our lives forever. After experiencing symtoms for months, and trying to get answers from the doctor, our dad had a fall, which prompted my brothers to take him to the ER. The next day, the doctors confirmed that our dad had an inoperable glioblastoma. Although he wanted to try to beat this monster, our pops passed in October 2024. Up till this time, pops was someone that followed whatever the doctors told him to do; he loved life, knowing it was a gift and he wanted to ensure he took care of himself so that he could continue enjoying it as he got older. In fact, in his mid-seventies, he ran a 10k, went to bootcamp a few times a week and ran the stairs at the local university. We often joked with others that pops probably could put some young kids to shame. Our father was the life of the party, loved meeting people, helping others and being a light. Losing him has been such a void in the lives of those that love him. We hope one day a cure will be found.
