Bob was diagnosed with Glioblastoma after suffering a seizure on September 30, 2021. He fought a long and courageous battle, but ultimately succumbed to the illness on July 5, 2022. Bob faced this challenge with dignity, bravery and perseverance; always looking to the future with positivity. Bob was a loyal, devoted and generous family man to his wife, Cindy, and three children, Jamie, Erik and Peter. He was known for his sarcastic wit and vivacious storytelling. He was a beacon of light and left a strong impression on everyone he encountered. He was a graduate of Minisink Valley High School in Slate Hill, NY, and graduated from Brown University. Bob became an avid Penn State sports fan while his two sons attended the school, and continued his support well after they graduated. Bob would spend his free time golfing, hunting and fishing with friends and family. He lived every day to its fullest and appreciated all his achievements and blessings. Bob’s smile and trademark hearty laugh will be missed by all, but never forgotten. Bob was a graduate of Minisink Valley High School and Brown University. He spent 20 happy years at CertainTeed Corporation where he developed life long friendships. Bob was a long-time member of the Elk’s Lodge #465 and the Masonic Lodge in Port Jervis. He also a was a member of the Beaverbrook Hunting and Fishing Club.
