Sara Gonzalez

My sister Sara was an amazing wife, mother, Grammy and sister. She was one of the smartest people I knew and would do anything for her children. My sister was a Marine wife so they made friends all over the U.S. She would take the young recruits under her wing. She loved to cook and shop. She was an avid shopper and I used to always tease her that she had a reserved parking spot at the mall because she was there often. My sister was a very spiritual woman so she wasn’t afraid of dying. She was diagnosed with GBM (glioblastoma multiforme) in October 2017 and she passed away at home in March 2018. This is a very aggressive cancer with no cure. I hope and pray that they find a cure one day so people don’t have to go through the pain and heartache that we went through.
