Sergio

Sergio Linares

Sergio was 53 years old when he passed after a 2 year battle with brain cancer. Sergio was an avid tennis player and enjoyed traveling and reading. Sergio learned to speak five languages on his own. When on vacation in another country he could easily converse with the locals in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese and even spoke some German. Sergio was honest and very trustworthy. He was a best friend and someone you could trust and who would be your confidant. Sergio was very devoted to his family and viewed as a leader in his family. His family loved him for his direct honestly to them and would not accept excuses. Sergio and his husband Michael shared over 32 years together. He is preceded by his father, Fernando Linares Sifuentes and his brothers, Joaquin and Jorge. He is survived by his husband Michael Holmes-Linares, his mother Consuela Lopez, his brothers Adrian Linares and Ruben Linares and his sister, Ruth Linares Lopez, along with many other nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
