Stephanie was the cheerleader of all cheerleaders. Not just a literal cheer captain in high school but in life. She was always rooting for everyone’s individualized success. Stephanie celebrated and magnified only the best in people, effortlessly blinded to their shortcomings. Stephanie made everyone feel seen, supported, welcomed, and loved. It was her super power.
Stephanie once noted that her favorite part of her brain was that she didn’t have to try or work to forget the “bad stuff,” cherishing only the highlights of relationships and life’s journey. Her ability to celebrate the best in people was matched only by her constant thoughtfulness, hospitality and grace.
Stephanie had a smile that could heal, a charisma typically only reserved for celebrity, and an immense amount of gratitude for her life and family.
To honor Stephanie’s legacy is to give love freely, let go of the “bad stuff, ” be grateful, and always cheer for the best version of everyone, the only version Steph saw.
