Taletheia (Tia) Mann

A sweet beautiful soul was taken from us on Christmas morning 2017 after a 5 year battle with cancer. Taletheia (Tia) was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma cancer that started in her sinus’ before moving to her jaw and the base of her brain. At the time of diagnosis, Tia was a mom of two teen aged boys (Master and Jahkai) and an 8 year old boy (True), and she decided that she was not going to let cancer take her down. She was told by her Oncologist early on that there was a good chance that she would not see her kids grow up. But Tia being the Wonder Woman and strong fighter she is was able to see both her teen aged boys graduate high school and her youngest son turn 13. She was truly a miracle! Throughout her fight, she continued to be the super hero she has always been by working up until the day she was admitted for her last visit to the hospital. She spent every day putting her energy into raising her boys with all of the love, encouragement and passion she had in her. She also made sure that every moment with her family and especially her husband (John) was cherished. Tia was a symbol of hope for anyone that was struggling as she put herself together each day with her top fashion outfits, hair done, accessories and who could forget her heels. Always on point! Tia will be remembered as a bright shining beacon of love and warmth to anyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
