Vanessa was a problem solver. We kid that her super power was research. She was a woman of faith and a good wife, mother, sister, aunt, and daughter. She was a kind woman. A true friend to her circle. She was a cat mom to her cat katty.

She retired from the city of Austin to take care of our mother who had end stage cancer.

She was a great big sister and sister friend. She cared for her siblings and helped them grow.

Her pride and joy was her daughter. She took great pride in assisting in planning her wedding and was able to see her daughter married before her passing.

She was a devoted wife of 46 years before her passing.

Vanessa loved singing in her church choir and would dutifully practice the selections for the Sunday service.

She was a loving aunt to her 4 nieces and nephew and acted as a second mother to them all.

Vanessa impacted all the lives she touched and is greatly missed.
