Thank you for joining us for the 13th annual Head for the Cure 5K Kansas City this Sunday, August 23rd! Head for the Cure is excited to celebrate its 13th year at Corporate Woods to raise awareness and funding for brain cancer research, while celebrating the lives and legacies of those affected by the disease. Our events truly are days of celebration, and Sunday’s will be the biggest yet! Online registration closes Thursday morning, so make sure to get all of your family members, friends, and teammates signed up before then! ExpoPacket Pickup: You can pick up your packet at our 4th annual Expo! 9:00am-5:00pm Saturday, August 22nd at the Overland Park Convention Center (6000 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66211). Be sure to stop by, pick up your packet, check out what all of our awesome vendors have, and design your team sign and Wall of Hope card! New this year: New Merchandise!
On top of some great HFTC merchandise inventory, we will also be doing some on the spot heat press designs, so make sure to customize a shirt! New this year: A Family Fun Zone! Check out this year’s Event Layout, and be sure to stick around and enjoy our new Family Zone once you finish the race! We will have many treats in this area including Chris Cakes ($5 suggested donation), a fun Irish band, a photo area, and seating for you, your family and teammates to sit and enjoy breakfast together after the 5K!

Volunteering and didn’t make it to Monday night’s Volunteer Meet & Greet? Stop by the Expo Saturday to pick up your volunteer shirt and check in on your volunteer job!
