On behalf of everyone at the Head for the Cure Foundation, thank you for helping make the 2nd annual Head for the Cure 5K Run/Walk in Riverside Park, NYC, such a terrific event.
A little rain early in the evening did not dampen the spirits of all those who participated in the 5k and the reception that followed at Ellington in the Park. It was an unforgettable celebration of hope and optimism for brain cancer patients, their families, friends and supporters!
With your help, we welcomed more than 325 runners, walkers, volunteers, donors, sponsors and well wishers — most participating with one of the 22 Head for the Cure teams supporting a loved one affected by brain cancer.
Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who came out to support our cause. A special thank you to Olivia Chamberlain, Chris Cutone, Jamie Ciamillo, Matt Killen, Victoria Callahan, and Ben Rydell for their continued and unwavering support. Our events would not go on without the help of our volunteers and participants. We are so appreciative of each and every one of you!
What’s more, and while we are still counting, our 2nd annual New York event has grossed over $25,000! These results are very exciting – and we appreciate your help so much – help us hit $30,000. Help us reach our milestone goal!
