2018 Event Summary

On behalf of everyone at the Head for the Cure Foundation, thank you for helping make the 2nd annual Head for the Cure 5K Run/Walk – Charleston an amazing success!

It was a breezy morning for our signature Head for the Cure 5K, and an unforgettable celebration of hope and optimism for brain cancer patients, their families, friends and supporters!

With your help, we welcomed more than 200 runners, walkers, volunteers, donors, sponsors and well wishers — most participating with one of the 14 Head for the Cure teams.

Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who came out to support our cause and assist in making our 2nd annual event a success. Our events would not go on without the help of our volunteers and participants. We are so appreciative of each and every one of you!

What’s more, and while we are still counting, our 2nd Annual Charleston event has grossed nearly $9,000!
