Breakdown Barriers to Clinical Trials
- How can you help? Contact your members of Congress and ask them to support the Clinical Treatment Act (H.R. 913), a bill that would guarantee coverage of the routine care costs of clinical trial participation for Medicaid enrollees with a life-threatening condition. Clinical trials are incredibly necessary to the continuation of brain tumor research and the fight for a cure. - How can you help? The Palliative Care & Hospice Education and Training Act (PCHETA) (S. 2080, Baldwin and Capito) was recently passed by the House of Representatives. This bill is now before the US Senate and we need your help to encourage your Senators’ to pass the bill. Palliative care is shown to enhance the quality of life for brain tumor patients and this bill will continue the education needed in support of palliative care.
