Since its inception in 2003, the “Head for the Cure” Foundation has raised more than $6-million for brain cancer research.
It’s also grown from just one race in Kansas City, to races in 19 cities across the country, and now the 13th Head for the Cure race is in less than two weeks away.
Founder, Matt Anthony, and brain cancer survivor Tim Elliot visited FOX 4 on Mon., August 15 and shared that the foundation’s mission is to inspire hope for the community of brain cancer patients, their families, friends, caregivers and other supporters while celebrating their courage, spirit and energy.
