Our 7th annual Head for the Cure 5K – Central Texas is almost a month away! We could not be more thrilled to see the city of Austin and the Central Texas area rally together to raise funds, awareness, and hope for the Central Texas brain tumor community. One of the teams supporting again this year is Team Hillary’s 50 Shades of Grey in honor of Hillary McClure.
As we are celebrating our 7th year in Central Texas, Hillary is starting her 4th year strong with her team “Hillary’s 50 Shades of Grey.” It also marks her 5 year survival anniversary and she couldn’t be happier to celebrate with her friends, family, and the HFTC community! Being diagnosed with a brain tumor can be isolating at times but to Hillary, Head for the Cure has given her a platform to make something wonderful come out of such a devastating diagnosis. She is able to be apart of a special community that all have the shared goal to find a cure!
When asked what she is excited for at the 7th Annual Head for the Cure 5K- Central Texas run/walk? Hillary said, “hands down, getting to celebrate health and happiness with my 50 Shades of Gray team, my amazing medical team, and others who are fighting brain cancer.” We cannot wait to share this special race with Hillary and other survivors, patients, caregivers, and well-wishers!
