Glioblastoma Awareness Day will be on July 22nd this year! Led by the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS), the brain tumor community has advocated for the resolutions H.Res.1004/S.Res.617 to designate July 22, 2020 as Glioblastoma Awareness Day. These resolutions were supported by Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), Martha McSally (R-AZ), Ed Markey (D-MA), and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and Representatives Brian Mast (R-FL), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), and Jim Langevin (D-RI).
Join Head for the Cure and the ENTIRE brain tumor community as we aim to honor those who have fought and are fighting a glioblastoma, act on their behalf by sharing stories and give back by encouraging advocacy as we all work to defeat brain cancer step by step!
Through our #GBMStories series, you’ll get to learn of one survivor’s story from diagnosis, through treatment, and his new outlook on life.
