Each year, many teams participate in our annual Head for the Cure 5K – San Antonio. Team Headstrong has participated in honor of Mike after his brain cancer diagnosis, and he is going 10 years strong. Team Headstrong has participated in the last 5 years for Head for the Cure in San Antonio! Each year our team grows in size and how many donations we are able to raise. The first year, it was our family of four and we raised a little over $200, this year, our team has 18 members and we have raised almost $1,700. Team Headstrong was created to honor Mike Hartfiel who battled with brain cancer in 2009. This year marks 10 years that Mike has survived brain cancer!- Michelle Hartfiel
