Organizers of the Head for the Cure 5K Run & Walk are returning for the third annual event July 10 at Marymoor Park near Redmond.
The Head for the Cure Foundation has raised $6 million for brain cancer research since the first 5K was organized in 2003 in suburban Kansas City. In 2015, $1.74M was raised with 15 events throughout the country. Again this year, the foundation 5K has expanded and will be conducted in 20 cities.
