How long have you worked at HFTC?
I interned the summer of 2016 at Head for the Cure after graduating from the University of Kansas with my Bachelor of Science in Marketing. I was then hired on full time in October of 2016.

Where else have you worked?
My previous work experience includes bartending in Lawrence and working cashier positions at Belly Image, Petco, and Schlitterbahn.

What is your favorite part of your job?
It has been a great experience meeting people from all over the country, coming together around a central cause. Their energy and passion to find a cure is a contant inspiration.

What have you accomplished in your 1st year at HFTC?
In my short time here I have already coordinated 5Ks in El Paso and Wichita. I have acted as support for our 5Ks in Omaha, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Lawrence. This year I also led our 1st ever bike ride in downtown KC.

If you have questions or suggestions about the event, please reach out to Kailyn at kailyn@headforthecure.org

Keeping the Faith
