STL’s Jeni Birr and Her Story Book: “Nobody Loves A Farting Princess” !

Jeni Birr, St. Louis resident and brain cancer survivor, wrote a book about her story. If you purchase her book directly through Amazon, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Head for the Cure. You can purchase her book HERE.

“Why would you name your book “Nobody Loves A Farting Princess”? What does that even mean? Honestly, I have no idea. It’s just something my dad used to say that stuck with me.

I was very close to my father until he was diagnosed with a stage four brain tumor when I was only twenty-seven. The six months I spent watching him descend from the smartest man I’d ever known into a confused, angry zombie-man was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. Even harder than anything I’ve endured since learning, only two years after my father gave into his cancer, that I have the exact same type. The doctors tell me it’s just lighting striking twice.

This is the story of my life thus far.”

About Head for the Cure
Head for the Cure is dedicated to raising hope, awareness and funding in the fight against brain cancer. Our 5K events are not only successful fundraisers, but unique tributes to those who are fighting brain cancer and those who have lost their battles. Their memories carry on through the teams that are formed around them, and these teams return year after year to celebrate their legacies.
