On behalf of everyone at the Head for the Cure Foundation, thank you for helping make the 3rd annual Head for the Cure 5K Run/Walk – Chicago a truly great day!
It was a beautiful summer morning for our signature Head for the Cure 5K, and an unforgettable celebration of hope and optimism for brain cancer patients, their families, friends and supporters!
With your help, we welcomed more than 350 runners, walkers, volunteers, donors, sponsors and well wishers — most participating with one of the 20 Head for the Cure teams supporting a loved one affected by brain cancer.
Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who came out to support our cause and assist in making our 3rd annual event a success. A special thank you to our hospitals, Rush, Northshore and Northwestern for their continued and unwavering support. Our events would not go on without the help of our volunteers and participants. We are so appreciative of each and every one of you!
What’s more, and while we are still counting, our 3rd annual Chicago event has grossed nearly $51,000! These results are very exciting – and we appreciate your help so much – and have us to close to our overall goal. Help us reach our milestone goal!
