On behalf of the Head for the Cure Foundation, thank you for helping make the 12th annual Head for the Cure 5K Run & Walk – Kansas City the most successful event in our history!
It was a beautiful morning for the 5K run/walk and the celebration of hope for brain cancer patients and their families, friends and supporters. There were over 4500 runners, walkers, volunteers, sponsors and well wishers — many participating on one of the almost 200 Head for the Cure teams supporting a loved one affected by brain cancer. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our donors again this year. As of this writing more than $425,000 has been raised from the KC eventSunday, and donations are still coming in. Thank you for your support and participation!

Eight extraordinary people were recognized as Keeping the Faith recipients. Please read their amazing stories and see why they represent the essence of Head for the Cure. Their stories are personal and special, and inspiring. And they illustrate why we keep pushing to grow our cause every year — to raise awareness and funding in the fight against brain cancer.
