Thank You, New York!

On behalf of everyone at the Head for the Cure Foundation, thank you for helping make the annual Head for the Cure 5K Run/Walk – New York an amazing success!

It was a fantastic fall morning for our signature Head for the Cure 5K, and an unforgettable celebration of hope and optimism for brain cancer patients, their families, friends and supporters! With your help, we welcomed over 150 runners, walkers, volunteers, donors, sponsors and well wishers — most participating with one of the 23 Head for the Cure teams. We also honored one of our brain tumor survivors, Roger Espinal, during our Keeping the Faith recognition.  Check out our Facebook page for photos from the event!

Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who came out to support our cause.  Our events would not be possible without the help of our volunteers and participants. We are so appreciative of each and every one of you!

What’s more, and while we are still counting, our event has grossed over $45,000!

Donations, of course, continue to be welcomed. We will keep the Head for the Cure NewYork donation page open for another 60 days.  So, please invite your friends and family to support this great cause! Funds raised benefit the Children’s Brain Tumor Project at Weill Cornell.
