I have been the pediatrician for Julie Berghaus’ daughter for past 9 months.

When I first met Julie, I did not know she was a brain cancer/tumor survivor. I recently learned that she has had some followup scans.

I am amazed by her fight and tenacity. I know that the brain tumor affected her ability to have a child, but through it all, she and husband welcomed a daughter.

I look forward to watching her daughter grow up with her mother who will show her the way to fight through life’s challenges.
