Danay attended Northwest Missouri State University and is currently an SPA Associate at Price Waterhouse Cooper. She became involved with Head for the Cure after her mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She often has one of the largest teams at the Kansas City Head for the Cure 5k Run & Walk.

She is the proud mother of two young girls.
