Laci is a 4-year supporter of Head for the Cure- who was introduced to the cause when her close friend was diagnosed in 2019. She attended the University of Missouri Kansas City and started her career working in health care as a Veterinary Technician and then as a Cardiology Technician at the University of Kansas Health System. She has a huge passion for animals and humans alike. Through a decade of healthcare practice, she has learned the art of active listening and empathy and developed the ability to anticipate needs and manage resources. These skills translated into coordinating events and connecting with survivors, participants, and sponsors alike. Outside work, Laci enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, family, and dog. She loves traveling, exploring the outdoors, visiting local shops and restaurants, finding new DIY home projects, reading, and listening to music.
