Summer is an event coordinator with a love for nonprofit work and creating events that bring people together. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Organizational and Interpersonal Communication and was involved in both the Bearcat Dance Team and Tri Sigma Sorority during her time there.

With a passion for nonprofits and making a difference, Summer is excited to bring her expertise in communication and event planning to Head for the Cure 5Ks. Outside of work, you can find her trying out new restaurants in Kansas City, catching a live concert, or cheering on the Chiefs and Royals. When she’s not out and about, she loves spending time with her cat Rosie.
