Thank you, Omaha 2016

On behalf of everyone at the Head for the Cure Foundation, thank you for helping make the 3rd annual Head for the Cure 5K Run/Walk – Omaha a great day!

It was truly a perfect summer morning for our signature Head for the Cure 5K, and an unforgettable celebration of hope and optimism for brain cancer patients, their families, friends and supporters!

With your help, we welcomed more than 550 runners, walkers, volunteers, donors, sponsors and well wishers — most participating with one of the 26 Head for the Cure teams supporting a loved one affected by brain cancer.

Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who came out to support our cause. A special thank you to Sue Roberts, RyAnne Hastings, Dee Hanson, Annette Townley, and Matt Mendlick for their continued and unwavering support. Our events would not go on without the help of our volunteers and participants. We are so appreciative of each and every one of you!

What’s more, and while we are still counting, our 3rd annual Omaha event has grossed over $35,300! These results are very exciting – and we appreciate your help so much – help us hit $40,000. Help us reach our milestone goal!

Keeping the Faith Honorees: We were so honored to recognize 4 extraordinary people Dee Hanson, Jason Jensen, Jeremiah Johnson, and Lorie Olson – as Keeping the Faith honorees. Their stories are the essence of Head for the Cure and represent why we keep pushing to grow our cause every year in the fight to defeat brain cancer.
